What began in the 1600s by the Catholic Church in Ireland, has now evolved into one of the biggest holidays throughout the entire world. St. Patrick’s Day is a time to revel in the history and culture of the Irish, while wearing tons of green, and indulging in Irish cuisine and beverages. The City of Angels is teeming with ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and though they’re all different, the common denominator is the color green. Take your pick of parades, Irish pub crawls, half and full marathons, and many more. One does not have to be Irish to celebrate the day of the Irish, but one must be willing to kick back, let loose, and have a little fun.
